CloudPets Updated With New Features, Enabled for Future Free and Paid Content Updates

September 23, 2015
Spiral Toys’ line of connected, interactive plush toys, CloudPets, have been updated with a range of new features. The new features are enabled through a free software update to version 2 of the CloudPets app, released in August 2015.

The update utilizes one of the core features of Spiral technology: the ability to deliver both free and paid ongoing content updates.

With the updated app, every CloudPet can now play interactive games, starting with “Barnyard Sounds”. In “Barnyard Sounds”, children can identify fun animal sounds being made by their CloudPet. The game starts off simply, then increases in difficulty as it progresses.

Along with interactive games, the update also introduces a lullaby feature. Parents can now set CloudPets to play a lullaby at bedtime, selecting both the song and duration of their choice. The 2.0 update includes “Ba-Ba Blacksheep,” “This Old Man,” “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” “Welsh Lullaby” and “Brahm’s Lullaby.”

Finally, the updated app introduces CloudPets stories. With CloudPets stories, CloudPets will read children one of their favorite interactive stories, while the children follow along on their mobile device. The updated app launches with two included, free stories, “Sassy Cassie” and “Worst Parents Ever.”

In the future, CloudPets will be releasing a wide range of both free and paid content updates featuring additional games, lullabies and stories.

CloudPets toys are now being sold nationwide in Walmart and Toys “R” Us stores, and online through, Amazon and a range of other distributors.
